Here's a great look at our 2 inch by 8 foot Bulldog winch tree saver strap. This is part number BDW20051. This gives us a total of an 8,800 pound break strength and a safe working load limit of 2,900 pounds. You can see here we've got the reinforcements sewn into the end of our loops which are also doubled over. It's going to give us great strength and good abrasion resistance. As you can see the tree saver strap here doing it's job well. What this is going to do, it spreads out that energy so we're not going to do damage to the bark of the tree or cause any scraping that we might otherwise see if we just had our cable wrapped around.
